An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter Scale occurred at 8.06 this morning in the southeast of Cyprus – off Cape Greko. According to the statement made by the Seismology Service of the Directorate of Meteorology, at 08:06 today, an earthquake of 3.7 km was recorded at a distance of approximately 74 km from the Nicosia Earthquake Station of the Department, with an instrumental magnitude of 3.7 according to the Richter Scale. In the statement, it was stated that as a result of the first evaluation, the epicenter of the earthquake was determined to be at 35.02 North and 34.14 East coordinates, at a depth of 7 km, in the Southeast of Cyprus – Off the Greko Cape.
